Overview
All dogs stay here for the duration of their training. training usually lasts around a month to a month and a half for basic obedience. Hunting usually lasts around 3 to 4 months. Depending on your needs service dog training is 4-6 months. You will come out and work with the trainer while your dog is here so you can see how the training is going and know how to handle the dog just as Henry does.
Henrys process of gun dog training goes along the lines of doing basic training and determining if they can be used as a hunting dog at a basic level, more advanced training can be done if needed. He uses live birds for the training as well as upland and waterfowl training.
